How do I know if I need a planner?

You want your wedding to be a unique experience that reflects your style, but you have a demanding career and maybe even fur babies to attend to. Not to mention a social life and family to spend time with. The long & short of it is: you’re busy. I work with busy couples who want to plan a beautifully sentimental event that feels True to who they are. I’ll serve as your guide through the entire planning process to help you understand what needs to happen and when. You & your fiancé still get to do all the fun stuff like tasting cake and sipping champagne, while I deal with the nitty gritty details. I’ll give you options based on what you want so that you can make easy, informed decisions so you can have all of those beautiful details without the stress. Let’s plan a wedding!


What if my venue has a coordinator?

It’s wonderful when venues provide in house day-of coordination, but they are providing that service for likely multiple weddings every weekend. They don’t have the time to devote to the intricate and unique details of your wedding like a professional planner does. Their job is to represent the venue, my job is to represent you.

How do I fit a wedding planner into my budget?

During initial consultations, we’ll talk budget right away. This transparency serves 2 purposes; first, to help us figure out what type of service would best suit your event and second, to make sure we are all on the same page with how much the event is going to cost. In general, for full service planning you should plan on spending 10% of your budget on your planner. During the planning process, we will help you make informed & responsible financial decisions which will likely completely (if not more than) offset the cost of our planning packages. If you’re going the coordination route, plan on spending 4-5% of your budget here. The peace of mind in knowing you will be able to sit back and enjoy your big day while everything is being taken care of for you is so worth it, trust me.

I already have most of my vendors booked, can we still work together?

I would love that! If you already have a lot of the wedding planned, our coordination packages might be best suited for you. I’ll provide you with extra guidance as we pull together all of the details surrounding your big day so that while you’re sipping on bubbly getting your hair & makeup done, I’ll have everything set up and under control!
